  • Offshore and onshore production complexes (primarily UK and Scandinavian North Sea, Former Soviet Union and Middle East), including Joint Operating Agreements, pipelines, construction and tie-ins, Single Point Mooring Systems, Floating Producing, Storage and Off take vessels, terminal and off-loading facilities.
  • Joint Venture, concession, exploration and unitisation agreements.
  • Production Sharing Agreements and related corporate agreements, accounting and financing structures.
  • Nuclear fuel purchase and transportation contracts.
  • Construction, operation and maintenance agreements for power plants (coal, gas and Combined Heat & Power).
  • Transportation agreements, including tariffing and commingling.
  • Tendering for and construction of platforms and terminals (North Sea and Persian Gulf), pipelines and related operating service agreements.
  • Loading/off take agreements and lifting procedures.

Dr Peter Felter acted as a Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of SOVEREIGN OILFIELD GROUP Plc for the specific purpose of developing an oilfield service company focused on the provision of engineering, fabrication, drilling services and personnel to oil and gas companies and contractors in the UK and internationally and the promotion of new ‘high tech’ IP and technologies for enhancing oil and gas drilling and production.

Played a key role in all the acquisitions made by the Company, also acting as General Counsel to the Company.

Previously held the position of Partner and Worldwide Head of the Energy Group at Clyde & Co. Acted also as the firm’s Finance partner for the Energy Group and established Clyde & Co’s office in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. Listed in Chamber’s Global: ”The World’s Leading Lawyers” and Euromoney’s “Guide to the World’s Leading Energy Lawyers”. 

Involved in Copenhagen as an International Counsel in Energy Law, International Contracts and European Law. Advised Maersk Oil & Gas as outside Counsel after being in-house Manager of Sales and legal manager of DUC’s North Sea oil and gas developments. Also advised e.g. BP Exploration.

Has advised on a wide range of international transactions and concessions and acted as governments’ arbitrator.

  • Author of “Gods Plan of Salvation in the Bible” and “Gethsemane – My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from Me”
