FIELD OF PRACTICE
Aref El-Aref heads the asset finance practice as well as the transport and logistics sector. His practice focuses on financing, with emphasis on aviation, shipping and corporate law transactional matters.  He has advised on a wide range of transactions in the areas of national and international mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings.
He has been involved with, and has successfully conducted  the most complex negotiations.

Aref El-Aref has also been involved with infrastructure projects for several years, drafting and negotiating the concessions for the project's first deals and concluding subsequent agreements while protecting the best interests of the clients. He is currently advising on some of the most innovative infrastructure deals in the market. A recent example was the provision of advice to banks in a £50 billion acquisition. Aref El-Aref also recently advised major multinational industries on mergers and acquisitions,  Aref El-Aref has extensive experience in a wide variety of projects in government-related areas (power barges, sale of vessels, and downstream and upstream equipment procurement).
